  • Anemia

    A boy at age 3 was diagnosed with anemia. Boy's bone marrow didn't generate enough blood cells that are necessary for the body. Today he is treated with stem cells in order to restore normal generation of blood cells. Before the transplantation cord blood stem cells were prepared for transplantation. This procedure takes about 15-30 minutes. Infusion of stem cells take about 15-30 minutes as well. Overall transplantation time is about one hour.

  • Leukemia

    In year 2002 35-year-old man was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia. He find out about his disease while donating his blood for leukemia patients. Doctors have estimated late stage blood cancer and treatment needed as soon as possible. However search for donor was failure. Doctors gave up their hope for this patient. A man didn't. While looking for a hope he addressed to European doctors, who told him about treatment with cord blood stem cells. This stem cell transplantation saved a man's life.

  • Cerebral palsy

    The most clinical trials for treating cerebral palsy have been done in Duke University, North Carolina, USA. Children who had neural system damages were treated using autological cord blood stem cells since year 2005. In 2009 there were 100 cases published. These trials also started in Asia. From 2007-2009 there were 4 cases published.

  • I type diabetes

    Clinical trials started in 2005, USA. Children with I type diabetes were treated with their cord blood stem cells. Trial results showed health improvements. Stem cells stimulated immune system and reduced destruction  of cells who generates insulin. 6 months after transplantation children's health was much better. Next clinical trial stated in Germany. In 2010 there were 23 cases of such treatment.
