Stem cell bank (KLB) is the first licenced stem cell bank in the Baltic States. In 2006 a group of Lithuanian scientists established hi-tech laboratory, who offers possibility to store cord blood stem cells in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Our personnel consist of qualified biologists, immunologists, biophysics, geneticists, who constantly following and participating in stem cell research. KLB has implemented quality assurance system based on European Union Standards and Lithuanian Law, all processes established accordingly to other European stem cell banks practice.
In 2007 State Health care Accreditation Agency under Ministry of Health issued licence for Stem cell bank (KLB) AS Imunolita, that refers to cord blood stem cell collection, preparation, storage and release.
